Terms & Conditions

1. DEFINITIONS

"The Buyer" means the party to whom the Goods are invoiced.
"Goods" means any goods ordered by the Buyer and supplied by Lektropacks pursuant to the contract.

2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The invoice acts as your Guarantee and must be returned with the Goods in the event of any claim for Service or Refund.
All Goods carry a 7-day money back guarantee and a one-year warranty.
If returning Goods please ensure that a covering letter is enclosed stating your name, address, postcode, daytime telephone number, invoice number plus your reasons for returning Goods.
Goods being returned for Refund - Both the Goods and the Packaging must be in their original condition, otherwise a minimum handling charge of 20% of the goods value will be incurred.
Postage refunds will not normally be made under any circumstances.
In the instance of Goods supplied (with regard to fault development) no longer being held in stock, Lektropacks reserves the right to replace the goods with a similar item regardless of price or manufacture.
Custom made leads (Prolink Range), whereby the Buyer had made an error in his/her requirement or specification – no refunds will be given.
Returns shall be credited at a maximum of their original invoice price, but the same is subject to a possible handling charge of 20% (see 2.d).

All returns must be sent at the Buyers expense to: -

3. PRICES

Prices are subject to change without notice. Lektropacks reserves the right to amend the prices advertised at any time to cover any variation in cost, which take place after that time.
For Account Holding Customers; our Terms are strictly 30 days from the date of invoice. All Goods remain the sole and absolute property of Lektropacks until full payment has been received.

4. DELIVERY

Time shall not be of the essence unless so agreed in writing. Delivery dates given by Lektropacks are genuine estimates. Lektropacks will take all reasonable steps to comply with them, but shall not be liable for failure to do so.

5. DESPATCH

Lektropacks shall not be responsible for failure to deliver or delays in delivery occasioned by causes beyond its control, including without limitation strikes, lockouts, or other disturbances, inability to obtain materials, breakdowns, delays of couriers or suppliers, governmental acts & regulations, acts of public enemies, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, epidemics, floods, washouts & explosion.
Lektropacks will always supply proof of despatch on request.
Should despatch be delayed by any cause whatsoever, a reasonable extension of time shall be granted, and until such extensions has expired the Contract shall not be capable of Cancellation by reason of such delay.

6. NOTICE OF SHORTAGE OR DAMAGED GOODS

Lektropacks must be notified of any shortage of or damage to Goods within 2 days of delivery or collection and such notice shall be confirmed in writing within 8 days of delivery/collection. No responsibility whatsoever for such shortages or damage will be accepted by Lektropacks in the event of failure by the Buyer will be deemed to have accepted the Goods. Goods obviously damaged in transit should not be accepted from the Carrier and no credit shall be given for replacements made of Goods accepted from the Carrier in a damaged condition. The risk in the Goods so rejected shall remain with the Buyer until Lektropacks takes possession thereof.

7. GENERAL

The Buyer shall be responsible for ensuring the suitability of the Goods for the purpose or purposes for which he/she intends to use them.
The responsibility remains with the Buyer as to the matching/compatibility of any goods purchased from Lektropacks and subsequent damage thereof.
Unless otherwise confirmed, nothing in our catalogue or advertising is to be taken as a representation of the source or original manufacture of production of the Goods or any part thereof.
The Goods are subject to any Patent, Trade Mark, Registered Design, Copyright, or other Right of any person.

NONE OF THE ABOVE AFFECTS YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
